In this step, to configure Elasticsearch in Magento 2.4 go to the AdminPanel
Navigate to Stores> Configuration.

Then scroll down and find the Search engine like the picture below.
In the Search Engine field, select the version of Elasticsearch that you installed on the server.

Write the Elasticsearch Server Hostname and Elasticsearch Server Port.
For the Elasticsearch Index Prefix field specify a prefix.

Elasticsearch Server Timeout field is 15 by default, you can change it and enter the number of seconds before the system times out.
After that click on the Test Connection button.
Finally, click on Save Config to save the changes.
